The Amplify Bible is an English translation of the Bible that offers an “amplified” text.

This Bible was published in 1965 as a revision of the American Standard Version of 1901.

The text is amplified using a system of parenthesis, brackets and italics containing clarifying words and comments, to make easier the reading and understanding of the Holy Bible.

Through amplification, the Bible reader can better understand the meaning of the original texts written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. The amplifications describe and explain concepts that are often missed by the readers.
